You are not out there attempting to "win people to Christ." Your goal is to make disciples. You can't make a disciple of a false convert. If you preach an inadequate or shoddy gospel, when you try to make a disciple of that person, it won't happen. Sometimes pastors wonder what is wrong with people in the church. I believe that most often, they haven't been converted.”

One of our distinctives as Independent Baptists is supposed to be a saved "converted" church membership. It is sad that most IFB preachers can be so blind to the fact that the perverted gospel they proclaim is filling their churches with people who believe they are saved, but who in reality are lost because they have been deceived by this no-Lordship, false repentance, optional discipleship gospel that is so prevalent in IFB circles today. If the infant baptism of the Protestants has deceived so many people into a false hope, how many more have been deceived by this false gospel of the IFB’s. This needs to be taken much more seriously than it is at the present time, especially amongst IFB’s.

Jason
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20213892.post-62984678521319482482013-07-12T06:43:55.436-07:002013-07-12T06:43:55.436-07:00Amen!
