I have received feedback from a Romanian teacher whose focus is language. I have asked unbelieving Moldovans regarding its readability/grammar. I have asked believers here who have grown up with the Cornilescu. It is not a KJV translation. If you look at the TR and look at the Fidela, it is clear that it is a translation from the TR. As for readability and such, have you read through the latest edition. Much has been improved on that end. Those who hold to a Ruckman position have issues with the Fidela because of this. Your accusations regarding the lies, arrogance, money, and manipulation should be backed up with some evidence. Posting as "anonymous" says something, too. I was first concerned over the rumors of the Fidela being a translation directly from the English. I've done my research and have concluded otherwise. If you hold to a TR and preservation position, what Romanian translation would you recommend? The Trinitarian Bible Society translation was NOT TR based (they had one man doing the translation) and they had to pull it off print once they found this out. I don't doubt that you are an independent baptist believer.... I do have a question in my mind if you would hold to a TR/preservation position of the Scriptures.
-David Gross Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10691092293025211173noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20213892.post-43824020518858473032013-05-17T15:31:59.434-07:002013-05-17T15:31:59.434-07:00Well, as a romanian, I can say, and I don't un...Well, as a romanian, I can say, and I don't understand why other romanians don't say it, that Fidela Bible is NOT A GOOD TRANSLATION and it is NOT A TR TRANSLATION. IT IS A KJV TRANSLATION CLAIMING TO BE TR TRANSLATION. LIES, ARROGANCE, MONEY, MANIPULATION etc are involved and you should ask more Romanians about the romanian of that translation. It is a mess. Take it from a neutral positioned romanian that has nothing to gain/loose from telling you the truth and that is a independent baptist believer. God bless you! ...ask more romanians, not americans. P.s. ask romanians that are not paid by americans that ar for Fidela. You will get the truth. There is a TR-based translation now in Romanian. It can be accessed through the following link:
http://fidela.biblecluj.ro/
This is the translation that we are using for church planting here in Moldova. If you have any questions on it, please let me know. It was translated through a local church team and has gone through 3 revisions. It is based on the right text and the Romanian is good, too. I have asked a number of people here, which have found it much more understandable than the other translations, by way of word choice and Romanian grammar. Hope this helps.Davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10691092293025211173noreply@blogger.com
