They lie and deepdown they know they are liars. They have hardened their hearts and seared their consciences. I have had many interactions with them, and a more arrogant, illogical, slanderous bunch in the churches cannot be found.

I know that usually its better to just stick to the academic arguments, but that is not always the case nor is it right. The New Version position is an immoral position, and one must succumb to pride and dishonesty before he can defend this position. The Bema will prove this over and over and over. My message to them is that the FEAR OF THE LORD is the beginning of wisdomAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20213892.post-1148296535059101962006-05-22T04:15:00.000-07:002006-05-22T04:15:00.000-07:00Kent,I was introduced to your book by someone whom...Kent,

I was introduced to your book by someone whom I hold in great respect and esteem for many reasons, David Hollowood.

I have been with Pastor Hollowood through some of the most horrific events ever enacted against a pastor at the hand of those who profess Christ yet act in a manner worthy of the most depraved. Sounds familiar.

I have not read Mr. Sproul's book and am loathe so to do. However, I probably will if I can find it at a discount price.

His characterizations are truly disturbing and characteristic, in my opinion, of a well trained Jesuit mind: undermine the messenger's character rather than deal with the evidence.

In days ahead I hope to help provide what may be the evidence that ends the text debate for the most part. The evidence
will show that for all of their degrees, and "acid free pens" (ha) their is resident in their minds a philosophy and approach that has as its foundation true rationalistic atheism; a presupposition for a position wholly devoid of truth and historical integrity.

Thou Shalt Keep Them is on my "current reading" shelf next to my computer and will be for some time. Thank you.David C. I realize that this is his stomping ground, but it seems like there are some men with integrity on that site. I would think that they would react to the unethical attack against you by Mr. Sproul. I could be wrong. Often integrity is in appearance only, especially among pastors. But I have to think that some who "just loved" Sproul's book would take a second look when they realize that he didn't even have the guts to send you a copy, or tell you that it was all about you.Dave Mallinakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01251231774542596620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20213892.post-1147218002052549152006-05-09T16:40:00.000-07:002006-05-09T16:40:00.000-07:00No, Never said a thing to me, No. Some would say ...No, Never said a thing to me, No. Some would say that since our book was public, it deserved a public answer. However, Sproul himself opines about Mt. 5 and 18 being followed and about receiving things unsolicited, etc. I'll send him my review first.Kent Brandenburghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13419354741455959191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20213892.post-1147217041808313602006-05-09T16:24:00.000-07:002006-05-09T16:24:00.000-07:00This post brought up a few questions that I hope y...This post brought up a few questions that I hope you won't mind answering. I first learned of Sproul's book in the same place you did (I think). When you first heard of the book, did you know that it was written to answer your book? Did Mr. Sproul tell you before or after that he was writing the book to answer your book? Did Mr. Sproul give you an opportunity to respond to his book? I am assuming that I know the answers to these questions, but I also think them important.Dave Mallinakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01251231774542596620noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20213892.post-1147148424656017062006-05-08T21:20:00.000-07:002006-05-08T21:20:00.000-07:00This really makes me angry!Oh, sorry. Your book on music (Sounding Brass) is equally appriciated.
"Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falesly, for my sake.
